Heating and cooling

Sized right for an East Texas summer

Installs and replacements for new builds, remodels and houses that never cooled right in the first place. We do it in-house, which means it gets designed with the building instead of squeezed in at the end.

What we do

Heating and cooling, done in-house

Most builders around here sub the mechanical out and hope it lands. We run our own crew, so the system gets planned while the walls are still open.

New construction HVAC

Designed alongside the framing, not squeezed into whatever space is left over. Duct runs planned while the walls are still open, which is the only time it is cheap to get right.

System replacement

Old unit finally quit? We size the replacement to your actual house rather than swapping like for like, because the last guy may have guessed.

Remodels and additions

Adding square footage changes the load. We will tell you honestly whether your existing unit can carry it or whether it cannot.

Ductwork

Leaky, crushed or badly run duct wastes more cooling than most people believe. Worth looking at before you replace a unit that may be fine.

Sizing done properly

Bigger is not better. An oversized unit short-cycles, never pulls the humidity out, and leaves the house clammy. Sizing is the whole job.

One company, whole build

We pour, frame and roof the same house. When the mechanical is ours too, nobody is waiting on anybody and nobody is blaming anybody.

Why RC21

The trade that gets squeezed in last

On most jobs HVAC is an afterthought, fitted around decisions everybody else already made. On ours it is in the plan from the start.

How it goes

Three steps to comfortable

1

We come look

We walk the house, look at the ductwork, and ask what rooms never get cool. That last question tells us more than the nameplate does.

2

You get it in writing

Equipment, sizing, scope and timeline, written down before anybody orders anything.

3

We install it

Our crew, our name on it, and one phone number if anything needs attention later.

Where we work

Proudly serving Northeast Texas

We run crews across Titus, Hopkins, Camp and Franklin counties — Mount Pleasant, Sulphur Springs, Pittsburg, Mount Vernon, Winnsboro, Talco, Daingerfield and the country in between. If you are a little past that line, call anyway. We will tell you straight whether the drive makes sense.

Straight answers

HVAC questions we get every week

My unit is old but still running. Repair or replace?

Depends on the age, the refrigerant it uses, and what the repair costs against a new system. We will look at it and give you a straight answer, including when the answer is leave it alone another season.

Do I need a bigger unit to cool my house better?

Usually not, and oversizing causes its own problems. A unit that is too big cools fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull the humidity out, so the house feels clammy at 72. Proper sizing beats extra tonnage.

Why are some rooms always hotter?

Nine times out of ten it is ductwork, not the unit. Crushed runs, leaks, or a return that cannot pull enough air. Worth checking before you spend money on equipment.

Do you do HVAC on houses you did not build?

Yes. Plenty of our mechanical work is on existing homes that have nothing to do with our other trades.

Can you handle it during a remodel?

Yes, and that is the right time to do it. Adding square footage changes what the system has to carry, and the walls being open makes duct changes far cheaper.

How fast can you get out here?

Depends on the season - July is busier than October. Call or text and we will give you an honest date instead of the one you want to hear.
