Turn-key custom homes

We build the whole house, ground up

Slab, framing, roof, HVAC and finish — one company, one phone number, one crew that answers for all of it. Turn-key means you get the keys, not a list of people to chase.

What turn-key means here

One company. Every trade.

Most builders in this part of the country are really schedulers — they sub out every line and hope the subs show up. We self-perform the structural trades ourselves.

The slab

We pour our own foundations, so the base of your house is not the cheapest bid somebody found in March.

The frame

Our crew frames it. Square walls make every trade after us cheaper and faster.

The roof

Our roofers dry it in as soon as it is framed. No waiting weeks on an outside crew with an open building.

The HVAC

In-house as well, so it gets designed with the house instead of squeezed in afterwards.

Finish and turn-key

Carried through to the point where you walk in with your furniture. One point of contact the whole way.

Remodels and additions

Same crews, same standard, on houses that already exist.

Why RC21

One throat to choke, and we mean that kindly

When four companies share a job, every problem belongs to somebody else. When one company does the structural work, it belongs to us.

How it goes

Three steps to the keys

1

Sit down with us

Bring your plans, your lot, or just your idea. We will tell you what is realistic on your budget before you spend anything.

2

Get it in writing

Scope, allowances, schedule and price, written out so you can read it at the kitchen table.

3

We build it

Slab, frame, dry in, mechanical, finish. Same crew, same number, straight through to handover.

Where we work

Proudly serving Northeast Texas

We run build crews across Titus, Hopkins, Camp and Franklin counties — Mount Pleasant, Sulphur Springs, Pittsburg, Mount Vernon, Winnsboro, Talco, Daingerfield and the country in between. If you are a little past that line, call anyway. We will tell you straight whether the drive makes sense.

Straight answers

Custom home questions we get every week

What does turn-key actually mean?

It means we carry the build from the ground through to a finished house you can move into, rather than handing you off between trades. You deal with us, not with six companies.

Do I need house plans before I call?

No. Plenty of people call us with a lot and an idea. We will talk it through and tell you what you need next. If you already have plans, send them over and we can be much more specific.

Do you sub out the work?

The structural trades — concrete, framing, roofing and HVAC — we self-perform with our own crews. That is the core of how we work and it is unusual around here.

Can you build on my land?

Usually, yes, but the land matters — access, utilities, drainage and soil all affect what a build costs. We will come look at the property before quoting anything.

How long does a custom build take?

It varies a lot with size, weather and how quickly decisions get made. We will give you a real schedule with the written estimate rather than a number over the phone.

Do you build the drawings you show online?

The images on our concepts page are labelled concept renderings. They exist to help you picture a house, they are not photographs of a finished home, and they are not a promise of what yours will look like.

Bring the plans, the lot, or just the idea. First conversation costs nothing and we will be straight with you about what it takes.
